Willkommen im Team!

We welcome Isabella Maier and Julieta Careaga Izaguirre to the Mass spectrometry and Biopharmaceuticals laboratory team!

Both are currently completing their required internship with us as part of their university studies. Their focus is on establishing and optimising methods for quality control and characterisation of biological samples in accordance with GMP guidelines. In RNA analysis, they use the bioanalyzer and capillary electrophoresis to assess the quality, integrity and purity of RNA samples. In protein analysis, they work with the Bioanalyzer, ELISA-based methods and LC-MS analyses to quantify proteins and detect specificities.

• Isabella would like to apply her knowledge in bioanalytical research under GMP guidelines and gain valuable practical experience.
• Julieta sees her internship as a valuable opportunity to deepen her theoretical knowledge and develop her practical skills.
