Apprenticeships as a chemical laboratory technician include learning many essential practical steps, such as how to take a sample and how to carry out measurements using an IR spectrometer.
- Sampling: For professional sampling, our apprentices entered a cleanroom. After a step-by-step briefing, the apprentices were able to carry out and document the sampling from a container on their own.
- IR measurement; This took place in the analytical laboratory. After the introduction, the samples were prepared, e.g. a KBr pellet was produced, the measurement was carried out, documented and analysed.
As a company that offers apprenticeships, we consider it very important to transfer our technical expertise to our apprentices, but also to convey a deep understanding of the complex processes involved in pharmaceutical development and production.
