CITY CYCLING - Cycling for a better climate

CITY CYCLING is a competition in which cities and municipalities participate. The aim is to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for 21 days and to collect kilometres. The municipality of Rülzheim also took part and asked its citizens and employees of local companies to join in cycling for a good climate. Every kilometre that was not covered by car counted.

It was clear that we wanted to do our part, and so a 10-member HWI team cycled 1,160 kilometres in the period from 01.06. to 21.06.2022, resulting in an avoidance of 178.6 kilogrammes of C02.

We are of the opinion: that's great!
