An interdisciplinary team of experts from the fields of vigilance, software programming and IT has collaborated in the development of an app for increased patient safety in pharmacovigilance, continuing the ongoing push for digital transformation in the field of drug safety. HWI group is a member of the AIQNET project, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), and this app was developed as part of this joint effort.
The digitalisation of the systematic literature review process was the focus in the development of this app. Detailed audit trails, electronic signatures, and a two-person rule for critical steps combine to ensure a maximum of security and quality. Furthermore, smart data and analytics are used to actively support our users during the process steps. The visual enrichment of textual data and a variety of filtering options are making it easier for our experts to accomplish their daily tasks.
